Patriot Earthworks is a Veteran & Family Run & Operated Excavation Construction Company
Vinnie Zangara (President)
Vinnie Zangara grew up in a small town working on the family's ranch and learning to operate equipment. His family says he was sitting on his grandfathers lap learning to operate before he could even walk. During high school he was a junior firefighter and worked his way up to an intern for the neighboring towns paid fire department. At the same time he was an intern, he was also a volunteer firefighter for the local fire department. This was the same department that his grandfather had been the fire chief when he was younger. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and deployed as a medic for an infantry platoon to Iraq. After the military, he got a job as an equipment operator for the Forest Service where he built and maintained forest service roads, built wetlands, as well as assisting the master blaster as part of the road crew. Vinnie has worked for several Civil Construction companies in every aspect of the business, from laborer to project manager. He did all this while going to school for his B.S. in Construction Management. When not working he enjoys the outdoors; hunting, fishing, hiking or just working in his yard. Vinnie's experience growing up on the family ranch, working his way through the ranks in the excavation business and leadership training and teamwork in the Army and firefighting allows him to provide the excellent service and knowledge people can expect and count on.
Trent Jarvis (Vice President)
From a young age, Trent Jarvis had a love of tractors. Before he could talk, his mom said he would make truck and tractor noises from the back seat of his parents car as they drove down the freeway. As a fourth generation in the construction field, it was in his blood. Throughout elementary and middle school, he was a member of a local 4-H program and in high school he joined his school's FFA chapter where his love of mechanics and welding grew. After high school, he decided to pursue a career as a mechanic were he took jobs with various rental yards and shops until he joined an apprenticeship to become a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in 2017. After a five year apprenticeship working for multiple large contractors, Trent became a Journeyman Mechanic for a smaller company where he put the skills and knowledge he gained as an apprentice to use working on a fleet of trucks, cranes, excavators, dozers and many other pieces of equipment. In Trent's free time, he enjoys working on his trucks, hunting, and being with his family. With his time growing up around the construction industry and his experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Trent has the skills and confidence to deliver a quality product to his customers day in and day out.
